Advanced Mechanical Design & Rapid Prototyping (SolidWorks)

With over 10 years of professional experience in SolidWorks, I have led the design and modeling of complex mechanical systems with a strong emphasis on rapid prototyping, manufacturability, and scalable production. My work spans steel weldment modeling, parametric assemblies, and standardized model libraries, enabling faster iteration, consistent quality, and long-term design reuse across projects.

I specialized in the design of conveyor systems and food-handling equipment, supporting both new installations and integration into existing production lines. This work frequently required on-site evaluations, where I assessed real-world constraints, material flow, safety requirements, and operational bottlenecks—translating those findings into clear, build-ready designs and customer-facing improvement proposals.

My experience also includes the 3D design of multi-story mezzanines, structural platforms, and pre-fabricated modular components engineered to reduce on-site labor, improve installation efficiency, and ensure structural clarity for fabricators and installers alike.

Throughout my career, I worked closely with a wide range of manufacturing vendors, coordinating designs for steel tubing, sheet metal fabrication, waterjet cutting, laser cutting, and CNC machining. This close collaboration ensured that designs were not only functional, but optimized for cost, lead time, and fabrication reality—bridging the gap between digital models and physical execution.
